HISTORY

Armida Ortega born and raised in San Diego, California, has been baking since 1956, at the tender age of 12. What we started was a passion to be enjoyed by her family and friends through dinner parties, weddings, and catered events.  That has now flourished into a traditional Oak Cliff novelty. She took what has been held as a tradition and made it original by baking homemade pies with a twist.
